Hygienic Design from MULTIVAC: consistent and ground-breaking.

Multivac packaging machines are designed to meet the highest standards of hygiene.

Hygienic design principles and the use of high-quality materials ensure that the machines can be cleaned quickly and safely.

  • The smooth, sloping outer surfaces with no recesses, corners or sharp edges are easy to clean.
  • And the entire inside of the machine is designed for optimum hygiene, e.g. the chain guide and chain and the motors. Everything is easily accessible for cleaning via easy-to-open side panels.
  • The high output thermoformers R 245 and R 535 are optionally available with the automatic Cleaning in Place (CIP) cleaning system.

  • The semi-automatic traysealers are quick and easy to clean. All hygiene-sensitive zones and components are easily accessible.
  • The automatic traysealers benefit from full wash-down capability, outside and in.
Removable conveyor belts and provision of space for cleaning allow all parts of the machine to be cleaned thoroughly.

  • The smooth, sloping outer and inner surfaces with no recesses, corners or sharp edges are easy to clean.
  • A membrane keypad protects the controls.
  • The larger floor-standing machines are fitted with removable seal bars.
  • On the B 310 the tilting lid makes it easy to clean thoroughly inside the lid. The whole of the machine can be soaped and washed down, even on the inside (IP65). In addition, a strainer and valve protect the pump against product residues, etc.

  • The automatic Cleaning in place (CIP) cleaning system guarantees a recordable, trackable and reproducible cleaning process.
  • As well as cleaning the outside of the machine, all the internal assemblies are cleaned and disinfected too.
  • Use of water and cleaning agents is minimized.
  • Choice of different MULTIVAC-optimized programs.
  • Custom cleaning programs can be stored and retrieved at any time.

Multivac thermoformers are certified in accordance with
