Multi-robot Handling Module H 240: high throughput product and pack handling

The H 240 multi-robot handling module automates manual tasks in packaging processes cost-efficiently and hygienically. Equipped with 2 four-axis HR 460 pick-and-place robots, it offers maximum throughput with up to 240 pick-and place-cycles per minute.

  • Flexible loading and unloading of packaging machines
  • High throughput and precission
  • Consistently modular construction with interchangeable gripper system
  • Flexible adjustment to products and packs weighing up to 1000 g per pick-and-place robot
  • Quick changeover
  • MULTIVAC hygienic design
  • User-friendly controls, operated from the terminal of the packaging machine

  • Versatile usage: the modular construction and interchangeable gripper system make it suitable for a wide variety of applications with varying products, formats, cycle times, and handling weights
  • Easy to operate: the module is controlled from the packaging machine terminal via a graphical user-friendly (HMI 2.0). It can be equipped with a separate control system if required
  • Stainless steel construction: durable, with easy access for cleaning and maintenance, also suitable for harsh industrial environments
  • Stability: the stainless steel cabinet is extremely stable thanks to its framework construction and welded joints.

Consistent MULTIVAC hygienic design for all components:

  • The stainless steel construction allows wet cleaning of the entire unit if required
  • The open, easily accessible frame profile with no undercuts or inner edges can be thoroughly cleaned without difficulty
  • With its high-quality components, the four-axis HR 460 robots are also suitable for use in tough operating conditions

Unique: The HR 460 is optionally also available in a lightweight titanium construction.

  • Flexible loading of MULTIVAC  packaging machines: also suitable for packing even floppy products like steaks or fish fillets
  • Pack separation at the end of the machine, especially where space is tight or a variety of different pack formats are in use. Defective packs can be discharged at the same time
  • Universal case loading, e.g. the placing of packs in boxes. The packs can be reoriented within the gripper system to make optimum use of the space in the box. Automated pack patterns can also be programmed
